Art Project “The Difference”

Art Project

The Art Project was a Finnish and German joint project, where we painted pictures of famous artists’ paintings and had an exhibition in the end.
We started the project in the auditorium, where our own art teacher explained the idea of the whole project.
So the idea was to paint a picture from some famous Finnish artists’ paintings. If I wanted to, I could paint a part of a picture and make it the whole picture.
Painting the pictures was really fun, even though I didn’t quite succeed. Many people painted nice pictures though, and the Germans were suprisingly good painters.
Painting the pictures took us a whole day.
We had the exhibition in our cafeteria on the last night before the Germans left back for Germany. In the cafeteria we served cake, pizza and drinks.
