kesäkattausOne of our common projects during this partnership was to collect some traditional Finnish and German recipes and publish them in the form of a small cookbook that can be given out to those who have taken part in this project.

This cookbook project was done in both schools: students prepared the recipes under the supervision of their Home Economics teacher, created some table settings appropriate for the season and theme and took pictures of the process. Later on these recipes were translated into English, the working language of this partnership.

During this partnership students also acquainted themselves with the food culture of the target culture. It was surprising to see how much local customs are seen in such simple things like table manners.

Both school printed out their version of the cookbook. These are available upon request. Please see “Contact Info”.
